Plateop shows the register data, inspections and mileage verdict for free. The paid report adds a buying score, inspection statistics by model and build year, and advice. Every claim carries a source and a date. We show no advertising. We have no record of past mileage or owners for this car beyond what the register gives. We also have no damage history.
PlateScout
PlateScout shows all RDW data for free, without an account: also the number of owners, the odometer verdict, recalls, a value estimate and monthly costs. The site names RDW Open Data as its source and gives buying advice through its "Occasion check". The site does not mention a paid option.
Finnik
Finnik shows the owner history, APK failure points and technical and environmental data for free. The premium report adds an exact value, odometer history, APK findings, options, a theft check and statistics. The homepage does not state a price. The site asks consent for personalised advertising. Finnik is part of VWE.
Carscanner
Carscanner shows a free basic check with a current-value estimate. The premium report costs from €4.99, or €2.50 per report in a bundle of 5. That report includes damage history, a mileage check (NAP) and their own buying score.
RDW licence plate check
The RDW licence plate check (OVI) is the free, official check from the RDW itself. It shows the number of owners, a verdict on the mileage and technical data. There is no buying advice, only the mileage verdict.
